Proposed Constitution and Bylaws of the CarSU-ATHLETICS CLUB



We the members yearning to secure the pleasure and benefits of an association of person interested in athletics, to promote the self-discipline and self-confidence, to encourage and coordinate activities of athletics, do hereby organize and constitute ourselves the CARAGA STATE UNIVERSITY-ATHLETICS CLUB.




Section I: The name of this club shall be known as the Caraga State University-Athletics Club, also



Section I: Any person with a sincere interest in athletics and willing to obey discipline and art may be admitted to membership.

Section II: Any person will be qualified or accepted if he/she attended the orientation and must have submitted the registration form.

Section III: Any member may be the subject for disciplinary actions if one violated the rules and regulations of the club or immediately dropped by the board of officers.

Section IV: Registration of the new members is Php 30.00 and the old members are Php 20.00.



Section I: The elected officers of CSU-ATHLETICS CLUB shall consist of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, and P.R.O.. All members shall be eligible to be candidate for officer except for the position for President of the club. Only seniors are allowed to run for this position.

Section II: The elected executive board of officers shall be elected for a term of one year.

Section III: The method of voting is through popular suffrage.

Section IV: When vacancy from an elected position occurs on the executive board, the remaining board members shall choose a new officer from the total membership to serve until the next annual election. His/her appointment to an elected board position shall be confirmed by a majority vote of the members.

Section V:  The annual votation will be held during the start of the first semester, early first

Section VI: Appointees shall have the powers of elected executive board members except those expressly stated as reserved for elected executive board members only. The President shall have the power to appoint current members to this or other positions as he/she deems necessary. Appointees shall be confirmed by a majority vote of the executive board members. The President shall determine the duties of the appointees.

Section VII: There shall be no less than two positions for elected officers.

Section VIII: The officer must do and serve his/her members well by performing the duties constituted of his/her position.

Section IX: Elected officers or appointees maybe removed through votation only if he/she did not do his/her duties, through votation the officers involved.



Section I: The President shall preside at all meetings. He/she shall be chairman of the executive board. He/she can call extra meetings if requires, temporarily fill vacancies, and appoint committees not otherwise provided for. He/she shall be an ex-officer member of all committees. He/she shall perform all other duties normally require by the office of the President.

Section II:  The Vice President shall preside in the absence or inability of the president to preside. He/she maybe assigned additional duties, like coordinating committee activities. He/she is to coordinate and verify the program for general meeting. He/she is to notify the president of

Section IV:  The Treasurer shall maintain the membership list and club records and aid in preparation of any formal documents. He/she shall keep an accurate account of all financial transaction of the organization, showing the receipts of the dues from members and bank receipts. He/she will send renewal and new subscription money and be responsible with the president for fulfilling necessary legal will documents.

Section VI: Committees as deemed necessary for proper organizational functioning may be prioritize by the president on the approval of a simple majority of the board.



Section I: General meetings for the executive for all members shall be held usually on the last Wednesday of the month unless otherwise scheduled by the executive board no less than one month in advance when necessary to avoid conflicts.

Section II: Board meetings of the officer and other interested members may be held prior to the general meeting and whenever else the president deems it necessary.

Section I: All members are encourage in participating in the practice and training, during his/her vacant hours in Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. The following reasons are accepted for excuse:

  i. If he/she has class during training.

 ii. Is ill and must secure a signature from clinicians

iii. Has an acceptable reason (e.g. family emergency, school projects, etc.).

Section II: Any consumption of alcoholic beverages during regular practice, meetings and caught drinking within training and class schedule is strictly prohibited.

Section III: Smoking is not permitted, if you are a member of CSU-ATHLETICS CLUB

Section IV: All ads, announcements and articles must be an item appropriate for the club, if doing ads one must seek approval from the executive board of officers, if failure to do so may result in loss from the club membership.

Section V: The executive board of member must have the control, restrict access, and set proper use for all club equipment and properties.

Section VI:  Neither the club nor the executive board shall be responsible for loss or damage to any equipment lent between members.

Section VII: Excess piercing for females and males are not allowed in the club and males must

Section IX: One must obtain and observe good manners and proper etiquette.

Section X: One must maintain a good academic status. No failing grades is highly encourage GPA’s will be monitored every semester.

Section XI: The member should respect who leads the training whether he/she is a junior or a senior

Section XII: During training, everyone must observe proper hygiene.

Section XIII: Dues shall be collected to assess some club expenses and improvement, one peso

Section XIV: To retain the membership of the club, the individual must pay twenty pesos registration fee and must have paid their current dues and obey the rules and regulation passed by
